About The Role & Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integrations Lead to join our team. This role will be primarily focused on designing, developing, and maintaining integrations within the Workday ecosystem, while also supporting functional configurations across Workday HCM modules. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday integrations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT. Experience with Workato is highly desirable, as we leverage the platform to power our HR agent and automation initiatives.

As a Workday Integrations Lead, you will: 

  • Integrations Development & Maintenance
    • Design, build, test, and deploy inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and XSLT.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
    • Work with third-party vendors and legacy systems to ensure seamless data exchange via web services, APIs, and file-based integrations.
    • Implement and monitor error handling and logging to ensure integration stability.
  • Workday Functional Configuration & Support
    • Configure and maintain Workday HCM business processes, security, supervisory organizations, and reporting frameworks.
    • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and recommend solutions.
    • Build and maintain advanced custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support HR, Finance, and leadership decision-making.
    • Assist with UAT planning, test script development, and defect resolution.
  • Automation & HR Agent (Workato)
    • Develop and manage workflows on Workato to automate HR processes and enable our HR agent.
    • Collaborate with HR Operations and IT to extend Workday functionality through Workato-based integrations and automations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a Workday subject matter expert for integrations and reporting.
    • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to ensure system design aligns with business requirements.
    • Provide end-user training and support for new functionality, integrations, and reports.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Required
    • 4+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, with at least 4+ years focused on integrations.
    • Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, XSLT, and Report Writer.
    • Solid understanding of Workday’s business process framework, supervisory organizations, and security.
    • Experience building custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
    • Strong background in XML, XPATH, XSLT, and working with web services (SOAP/REST).
    • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting Workday integrations in production.
  • Preferred
    • Experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
    • Exposure to HR modules such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Position Management.
    • Experience with UAT, change management, and cross-functional HR/Finance systems projects.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $145,000 - $217,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $161,000 - $241,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $161,000 - $241,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $145,000 - $217,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $145,000 - $217,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
