What You'll Be Doing:

As a HRIS Specialist focused on Workday Compensation and Absence, you are part of the Global HR Technology Team responsible for the analysis, design, and development of the Workday system, policies, and related processes. While working closely with all HR COEs, supporting globally, you will build a thorough understanding of HR business processes, analyze the evolving business requirements to enable the development of business solutions, and improve the systems we support. We are open to offering this position as a hybrid or fully remote role, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

  • You will maintain and manage Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation and their related business processes, configurations (i.e. Compensation rules and eligibility, support and maintain Merit Cycle processes, Reporting), and key administrative features of Workday
  • You will gather and document business requirements of new initiatives or changes to existing processes/procedures impacting Compensation and Absence
  • You will provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Workday Compensation and Absence issues
  • You will manage and participate in compensation/absence-related projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • You will act as a liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • You will stay updated on Workday product releases and industry trends to ensure optimal system performance
  • You will assist in developing and maintaining compensation/absence policies and procedures in Workday

What You Need to Succeed:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You have at least 5 years of working experience with Workday Compensation and Absence configuration
  • You have experience with Workday technologies - Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Report Writer, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields
  • You are analytical and have strong problem-solving skills
  • You are detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
  • You are able to prioritize tasks with tight deadlines
  • You are comfortable working both individually and as a team player
  • You are a strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • You have the ability to effectively lead discussions
  • To be successful in this role you need to have a good understanding of the system set up and the different business processes
  • You understand how data is stored in the system and how it integrates with internal applications
  • You are comfortable working with ambiguity from time to time and working in fast paced project environment should not be something completely new to you
