About Invisors

As a professional services firm, our people are our brand: It’s mission-critical that we hire + nurture talent effectively. We pride ourselves on being flexible and innovative, with a passion for client satisfaction, and a relentless pursuit of improvement.  Most of our team joined Invisors from Workday Practices of larger global firms looking for an innovative and nimble culture that encourages new ideas and collaboration, free of red tape.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy balance of college graduates, experienced enterprise professionals who have used Workday to perform their administrative responsibilities, and Workday-certified consultants who are authentic, empowered, and resilient.  More important than your Workday experience, our recruiting priority is to get to know you and ensure a culture fit.

About this Role

As an Invisors Adaptive Architect, you will lead the payroll workstream internally by coaching more junior consultants, and externally by managing the design and delivery of Workday projects. You will work closely with all other Consultants in the Adaptive workstream and manage cross-functional impacts with other domain leads. This role will allow you to coach others in their consulting career while helping clients develop a strong plan and design for their Workday Adaptive system.

In addition to your client-facing role, every Invisors Architect plays a critical role internally as we develop our business, improve our client offerings, and grow our team. You will be expected to contribute to projects as well as contributing internally.

An Invisors Architect must:

  • Be a partner for the Project Manager and Engagement Executive for planning a project's adaptive area.

  • Proactively work with other areas of the project to develop solutions for requirements or planning challenges.  An Adaptive Architect will not simply advocate for the adaptive workstream but instead will look to develop the best solution for the project, client, and Invisors overall.

  • Assist in budgetary accountability for their projects.

  • Be prepared to serve as the Adaptive Area Architect for projects.

  • Read the room and tailor approach appropriately and can deliver difficult messages effectively.

Relevant skills and experience:

  • 3+ Years of Workday Adaptive and/or 5-8 of Industry Experience

  • Experience implementing or administering Adaptive Planning - Adaptive certified is ideal

  • Budgeting and forecasting experience related to expense, personnel, revenue, capital, cash flow and balance sheet planning

  • Experience with enterprise planning software and/or financial application software desired

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
