In this role, you will:
- Serve as the key Business Process Owner and subject matter expert for key financial applications (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Coupa, etc.) to meet business needs. Analyze and improve business processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a bridge between finance stakeholders and technical teams, support successful implementation of process improvements, actively contribute to business requirements gathering and user acceptance testing. Provide user support and training, build documentation and promote best practices within our technology across the finance organization. Partner with the IT PMO team in the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives and projects, providing support and oversight on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Continuously maintain a working knowledge base of systems capabilities, cross-referenced against process capabilities and the enterprise data catalog, keep up to date with core systems roadmaps, and the latest in industry trends.
- Support financial reporting and planning processes by ensuring data integrity and enabling automation through systems-driven solutions.
- Maintain strong documentation and control procedures to support SOX compliance and audit readiness.
The skills you'll bring include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in financial systems, financial operations, or business systems analysis.
- Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Coupa, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, FP&A, revenue, treasury, cash flow reporting and procurement workflows.
- Collaborates closely with IT Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to translate business needs into functional system requirements.
- Experience working in a SOX-compliant public company environment is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management abilities.
