We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

We are hiring a Workato Administrator to own the automation that connects the systems Rula runs on. Workato sits between Salesforce, Zendesk, and the tools our operations teams use every day, so the work has a direct line to real outcomes for providers and patients. Day to day, you will build automations that remove manual work for operations teams, investigate why an integration failed and make sure it fails visibly going forward, and find the places where a process is more expensive or more fragile than it needs to be. You will work alongside Technical Program Managers, Salesforce Administrators, and developers on the Business Systems team, with real ownership of the platform and room to shape how we use automation to reduce manual work across the company.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining enterprise integrations in Workato, or a comparable platform (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Tray.io).

  • Direct experience administering Salesforce or working as the primary integration owner in close partnership with a Salesforce team.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience troubleshooting production integration failures, diagnosing root causes, and building robust error handling and monitoring.

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and external ID matching between disparate systems.

  • Proven track record of identifying manual or inefficient operational processes and delivering automated solutions with measurable results.

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • Official Workato Certification.

  • Prior experience serving as the sole or primary administrator owning an enterprise integration platform.

  • Strong data architecture foundation, including defining and enforcing system-of-record boundaries across integrated systems.

  • Self-directed mindset with demonstrated ability to own and drive a platform with minimal day-to-day supervision.

  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce data architecture, including standard/custom objects, relationships, and external lookup keys.

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:

  • 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)

  • Attractive pay and benefits: Full transparency of pay ranges regardless of where you live in the United States

  • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA

  • 401(k) plan access: Start saving for your future

  • Generous time-off policies: Including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees)

  • Paid parental leave: Available for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Supporting your mental and physical health

  • Quarterly department stipend: Fun team-building activities or in-person gatherings

  • Community and employee resource groups: Participate in groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all

  • Home office stipend: New hire home office stipend & $50 monthly stipend to help cover internet or cell phone expenses

  • Wellness at Rula program: Year-round wellness initiatives and a $50/month wellness stipend

Our team

We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone.  We are dedicated to having a culture of inclusion that will support our employees in feeling safe, seen, heard, and valued.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
