In this role, you will:
- Collaborating with Head of SI and Market Coverage, Tech Division Executive and Market Coverage Division Executives in developing annual business plans and directing the group in execution of these plans
- Managing commercial banking leaders/Tech Market Leads, who manage local relationship managers that work with clients and prospects on credit-based loan products
- Partners with other product partners including but not limited to the Corporate and Investment Bank, Treasury Management ("GPL"), FX, Interest Rate Risk, Wealth and Merchant Card to attract and retain customers with an appropriate credit risk and operational risk lens to grow revenue and profits
- Develop and expand Venture relationships in coordination w/Tech Banking Venture Coverage team.
- Direct the business of originating credit related products, treasury management products, and investment banking/capital markets products
- Directly works with Portfolio Management team while still maintaining ownership of the risk

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit policy, compliance, and underwriting requirements
- Leadership experience including mentoring and coaching
- BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Sales and marketing leadership experience
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Ability to develop and execute market strategies, and goals
- Underwriting experience involving advanced commercial and/or specialty group relationship portfolio credit
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships and collaborating with other product businesses within Wells Fargo
- Highly skilled at negotiating, underwriting, and structuring deals for venture-backed companies within the Technology industry
- Strong track record growing a portfolio, while appropriately managing risk
- Extensive relationships with technology companies, non-bank lenders, venture capital firms, and service providers
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
- US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
- Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance. Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
