As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that elevate WEBTOON's brand, drive user acquisition, and boost audience engagements. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you will manage integrated marketing campaigns, optimizing performance to achieve key business goals. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Partnerships, this high-impact role is a vital part of the Brand & Audience Development team and contributes directly to our marketing flywheel through both B2C and B2B efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of strategic thinking and executional excellence, with a clear understanding of the value behind diverse partnerships, understanding of the creator economy, and a passion for driving business growth.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop brand marketing strategies for WEBTOON across key target audiences, including readers, creators, and prospective creators, to strengthen brand awareness, consideration, and perception.

  • Ideate, develop, and lead brand-building initiatives and marketing campaigns that elevate the WEBTOON brand, including events, advertising, and strategic partnerships with brands, content partners, creators, and talent. 

  • Own relationships and communications with external content partners, including Disney, Paramount, Blizzard, and other key partners, to drive user growth and success of our shared IPs. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Content, Social, PR, Creative, Product, and external stakeholders to create cohesive brand experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. 

  • Lead brand health tracking and consumer research initiatives, proactively leveraging first-party, third-party, and market intelligence data to uncover actionable insights, monitor audience and brand trends, and inform marketing strategy and brand positioning. 

  • Develop scalable marketing frameworks, campaign playbooks, and operational processes to improve collaboration, executional excellence, and organizational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in entertainment marketing is required.

  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, with proven experience developing and executing brand strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Deep knowledge of the marketing ecosystem, including advertising, social media, experiential marketing, partnerships, influencer marketing, and content marketing.

  • Experience marketing to fandom-driven audiences and a strong understanding of fan communities and fan behavior.

  • Familiarity with WEBTOON, digital storytelling, and the creator economy is strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience developing and executing creative campaigns in collaboration with internal creative teams and external agencies.

  • Experience building and managing relationships with external partners; brand partnership or entertainment partnership experience is a strong plus.

  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate consumer insights, market trends, and performance data into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently lead multiple initiatives, manage budgets and timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a dynamic work environment.

Salary Range and Description

    $85,000 - $110,000 / annually
