Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a Web Developer to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

The Role:

Simple Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Web Developer with deep ColdFusion expertise to support a federal government contract. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, user-friendly web applications that align with federal standards and agency objectives. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, leveraging technologies such as ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, while integrating REST/SOAP web services and supporting both front-end and back-end functionality.

You will collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and agency stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable, compliant web solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in Agile environments, and has a strong understanding of web security, accessibility, and performance best practices.

The Web Developer at STS will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, functional web applications adhering to SDLC and Agile framework.
  • Perform system analysis, integration, and software engineering tasks, ensuring compatibility with web standards and functionality across different platforms.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using ColdFusion and other technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, while integrating APIs and web services.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • US Citizenship
  • Demonstrated expertise in web applications, including ecommerce, UI design, and web standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Cold Fusion, and web development languages.
  • Proficiency in Cold Fusion, .Net, or Java
  • Strong understanding of UI design, cross-browser compatibility, web security principles, object-oriented design, REST/SOAP web services, and multimedia content development.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, and programming for client/server and internet system architectures
