Overview 

We are seeking a skilled web developer for a contract position with flexible, varied hours to manage one of our client’s CMS-based microsites. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our client’s technical infrastructure and cross-functional business partners, ensuring our client’s web presence effectively meets all stakeholder needs. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage our client’s headless CMS platform and maintain content architecture 

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Legal, Product, and Customer Support teams to implement website updates 

  • Ensure website content and design meets cross-functional business requirements 

  • Make code modifications to enable new CMS customizations 

  • Optimize website performance and user experience 

  • Document processes and provide training to content creators 

Required Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript 

  • Experience with React and Vue UI frameworks 

  • Familiarity with server frameworks including Nuxt.js and Next.js 

  • Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Strapi experience preferred) 

  • Understanding of responsive design principles 

  • Version control using Git 

Required Qualifications 

  • 2-3+ years of front-end development experience 

  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant web development work 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders 

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams 

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with SEO best practices 

  • Understanding of web accessibility standards 

  • Experience in an agile development environment 

  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics) for measuring website usage and performance

Salary Range

$35.08 - $55.38 USD (Hourly)
