KBR is seeking a Web App Developer – SharePoint to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the MSEIT contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for KBR employment. However, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command. We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be joining a small team of web app developers providing web applications for 300+ engineering staff on a US Space Force contract.  The team has daily Agile Scrum stand up meetings and biweekly planning sessions.  Daily tasks may also include investigating code approaches, discussing approaches with the team verbally and in writing, documenting progress on tasks, testing code on the development server, reviewing other team members' code, interacting with users, and deploying code to the production environment.  Coding tasks can include maintaining apps on a SharePoint 2016 on-premise environment and developing new apps in SharePoint online.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance required for this position
  • Computer science or technical degree
  • Ability to think through, develop, test, and deploy web app solutions using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to learn, accept feedback.  Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to problem solve, plan and organize work

Desired:

  • Work experience in a relevant environment, with Agile Scrum
  • Experience with USSF systems engineering and integration contracts
  • SharePoint web app development experience

Basic Compensation:  $65,000 to $85,000 in California

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
