THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a proven new-logo hunter who knows how to open doors, build executive relationships, and close complex enterprise deals. This is a highly visible individual-contributor "hunter" role for someone who can create qualified pipeline from the ground up and lead opportunities from first engagement through signed contract.

This is not an account-management role. You will originate opportunities, build your own pipeline, and carry your own pursuits.

THE ROLE

The Vice President / Senior Vice President of Business Development is responsible for originating, developing, and closing new-logo Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Customer Experience (CX), and technology-enabled transformation opportunities with national and international companies.

Candidates may be considered at either the Vice President or Senior Vice President level based on relevant experience, demonstrated new-logo sales performance, depth of executive relationships, and the size and complexity of enterprise opportunities successfully closed. Final title and compensation will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated results.

Target sectors include: Healthcare; Travel, Transportation & Hospitality; Retail/e-Commerce; Financial Services/Banking; Logistics; and Energy (Power & Gas).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Hunt

  • Own the end-to-end new-logo sales cycle, including target account identification, prospecting, executive engagement, opportunity qualification, solution development, business case creation, proposal development, commercial negotiation, contracting, closing, and appropriate transition to account leadership following contract execution.
  • Personally originate new opportunities through direct executive outreach, industry relationships, strategic networking, advisors, partners, conferences, and internal channels. Create pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or RFP activity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers within targeted enterprise accounts, positioning Everise as a strategic partner rather than solely a traditional outsourcing provider.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise pursuits from initial engagement through contract execution, with urgency, ownership, and clear next steps.

Build

  • Identify and pursue strategic market opportunities aligned with Everise’s growth priorities and collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain a predictable, qualified pipeline sufficient to consistently achieve annual new-logo revenue and bookings targets, with clear accountability for pipeline progression, forecast accuracy, next steps, and CRM discipline.
  • Lead and coordinate internal resources across Solutions, Operations, Technology, AI, Finance, Pricing, Legal, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Articulate Everise’s value proposition across traditional BPO and CX services, as well as AI-enabled operations, automation, analytics, digital transformation, and technology-enabled customer experience solutions.
  • Develop compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate client value, including productivity improvement, cost optimization, customer experience outcomes, revenue impact, risk reduction, and transformation opportunities.
  • Execute targeted go-to-market plans in partnership with Marketing and Everise leadership, leveraging industry events, advisors, influencers, strategic partners, and executive networks to create new opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations tailored to specific client business challenges, strategic priorities, and desired outcomes.

Deliver

  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to sell and negotiate a variety of commercial models, including FTE-based, transaction-based, consumption-based, and outcome-based structures.
  • Maintain full ownership and accountability for opportunities throughout the pursuit process, working closely with the RFP, Solutions, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams to develop differentiated proposals and compelling client presentations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the competitive BPO and CX landscape, emerging technologies, AI trends, buyer priorities, and evolving commercial models to strengthen Everise’s market positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Maintain clear accountability for pipeline progression, forecast accuracy, deal progress, next steps, and CRM discipline.

WHO YOU ARE

The non-negotiables.

  • Significant enterprise sales experience within BPO, CX, customer care, digital transformation, technology-enabled services, or a closely related industry. Direct BPO/CX sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • A demonstrated and verifiable track record of personally originating and closing new-logo enterprise business, including complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
  • The ability to independently prospect, originate, develop, and close new enterprise business without relying primarily on existing accounts, inbound opportunities, or formal RFPs.
  • Established, current, and relevant relationships with C-suite executives, senior decision-makers, advisors, and/or industry influencers within target markets.
  • Experience selling transformational solutions and communicating the business value of AI, automation, analytics, digital capabilities, and technology-enabled CX solutions to senior executives.
  • Experience developing ROI-based business cases and navigating complex procurement, pricing, contracting, security, technology, and legal processes within large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong executive presence, exceptional prospecting and relationship-building capability, and the credibility to engage C-suite and senior executives.
  • Commercial fluency, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to discuss closed-won performance with specificity.
  • Comfort operating as a self-directed individual contributor in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment with high personal accountability for results.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and proficiency with CRM platforms and standard productivity tools.

WHAT SETS THE BEST APART

  • Direct experience selling BPO or CX services into one or more of Everise’s priority sectors.
  • A history of building a territory, vertical, or target-account portfolio from the ground up.
  • Experience closing significant and complex new-logo enterprise deals.
  • An established executive network that helps create credible access to target accounts.
  • The ability to communicate the value of AI-powered CX and transformation to senior business leaders in practical commercial terms.
  • Success in a high-growth environment where you were expected to create momentum rather than wait for a fully developed playbook.

Leveling Guidance

The distinction between VP and SVP should be based primarily on demonstrated production and scope: the size and complexity of wins, sustained new-logo performance, executive network, ability to self-originate pipeline, sophistication of deals, and ability to lead major pursuits. A hard years-of-experience threshold is intentionally not specified.

Compensations & Benefits

$180,000–$210,000 base + discretionary bonus, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid time off. Actual pay may vary by skills, experience, and location.

If you’ve got the skills to succeed and the motivation to make it happen, we look forward to hearing from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
