The VP of Strategic Alliances will develop and manage partner relationships to drive revenue growth in the SaaS sector, negotiate agreements, and build scalable partnership programs.
About HSI
HSI is a fast-growing SaaS company helping organizations simplify safety, compliance, and workforce management. Our solutions enable businesses to keep their people safe, trained, and compliant — all in one place.
We’re seeking a VP of Strategic Alliances to drive new revenue growth through enterprise partnerships with distributors, resellers, and consulting firms. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a seasoned SaaS professional who thrives on building something from the ground up.
You’ll define our alliance strategy, identify high-value partners, and develop scalable programs that extend HSI’s market reach.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and execute HSI’s strategic alliance solutions — developing scalable programs that deliver measurable commercial impact.
- Own the full partnership lifecycle – identify, evaluate, and close new relationships with distributors, resellers, and consulting/integrator partners.
- Negotiate and drive commercial agreements that expand HSI’s reach and accelerate revenue growth.
- Develop joint go-to-market and promotional initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Sales to increase partner-led pipeline.
- Position HSI’s SaaS platform as a trusted solution for enterprise consulting and training partners.
- Track and evaluate partnership performance using data-driven insights, implementing strategies to strengthen outcomes and profitability.
- Establish scalable policies and frameworks that guide long-term partnership management and success.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership — including the CRO, Sales, Product, and Marketing — to ensure alliance strategy aligns with company growth objectives.
- Lay the foundation for future team expansion, with the opportunity to lead and mentor a growing partnerships organization as HSI scales.
- Represent HSI at partner meetings, conferences, and events to build relationships and elevate brand visibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, channel sales, or business development, including 5+ years in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Demonstrated success in creating, negotiating, and scaling high-value partnerships that deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Proven ability to build and lead partnership programs from the ground up — from strategy through execution.
- Leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, relationship management, and partner enablement with enterprise consulting or reseller organizations.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable balancing big-picture vision with tactical delivery.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or comparable experience required; MBA preferred.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10%.
Benefits
- Be part of an established SaaS organization entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth and market expansion.
- Lead the evolution of HSI’s alliances strategy, building enterprise partnerships that complement our existing partner ecosystem and accelerate market reach.
- Work directly with the CRO and senior leadership team to define and execute high-impact partnership and go-to-market strategies.
- Grow into a leadership role with future responsibility for a dedicated partnerships and channel team as the department scales.
- Enjoy a competitive compensation structure, including commission tied to partnership performance and comprehensive employee benefits.
- Join a collaborative culture where innovation, accountability, and entrepreneurial thinking are encouraged at every level.
