Who Should Join?

We’re looking for product executives who are:

Typical Roles & Responsibilities
  • Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive business growth

  • Lead and scale cross-functional product teams, hiring and mentoring top talent

  • Collaborate closely with CEOs, executives, and investors to align product direction with company objectives

  • Oversee feature prioritization, execution, and product lifecycle management

  • Establish data-driven decision-making frameworks, leveraging user research and analytics to optimize product success

  • Own go-to-market strategy, working with sales, marketing, and customer success to drive adoption

  • Evaluate new market opportunities, business models, and revenue growth strategies

  • Ensure best-in-class user experience and customer engagement strategies

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous innovation

Common Qualifications

While each startup has its own hiring criteria, many VP of Product roles in our network look for:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 4+ years leading product teams

  • Proven track record of scaling product teams and managing large product portfolios

  • Strong experience in B2B SaaS, AI, fintech, marketplaces, or developer tools

  • Expertise in customer research, user experience, and growth optimization

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments

  • Deep experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and product-led growth

  • Strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams

  • Experience working in venture-backed startups or high-growth technology companies
