Job Overview
The Vice President, Operational Excellence, is responsible for leading a Center of Expertise (COE) in process design, development, and continuous improvement that provides leadership, consulting, and development support across PACE sites, functions, and disciplines. This COE will identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and motivate, enable, and support process excellence across PACE units to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and deliver a best-in-class participant experience. Additionally, this role is responsible for operational oversight, standardization, and continuous improvement of PACE-wide shared services such as Transportation, Scheduling, etc., that are vital to achieving PACE targets for operational excellence, compliance, and participant experience. This role, directly through shared services oversight and indirectly through the process excellence COE, builds and standardizes processes and capabilities to enable scalable growth and create competitive advantage for AltaMed PACE.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree in management, healthcare administration, or clinical discipline preferred
Ten+ years’ healthcare leadership experience of diverse teams with increasing responsibility, preferably in both line operations and COE or corporate roles; Experience working with senior services and elderly populations is highly desirable
Knowledge of health care delivery systems, electronic medical records, regulations, quality assurance, and medical and non-medical operations
Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) with demonstrated business/quality/compliance impact
Experience working collaboratively and developing and influencing interdisciplinary teams (IDT).
Strong background in change management and transformation with expertise in driving adoption of new processes, technologies, and business practices across diverse teams
Bilingual fluency is highly desirable: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
Compensation
$235,073.28 - $293,841.60 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.
