Since 2014, Aspire’s industry-leading software platform, combined with our award-winning Agency Services team, has served household names such as M&Ms, Keurig, Samsung, HelloFresh, Dyson, and many other high-growth ecommerce companies while paying out $100M to creators around the world.

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, collaborative, and growth-oriented Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing organization. This role will focus on strengthening our market position, driving predictable pipeline growth, and building a high-performing team that partners cross-functionally to achieve company goals.

As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll shape the company’s marketing strategy and elevate how we communicate our value to the market. You’ll lead efforts to enhance operational rigor, evolve team structure to scale efficiently, and refine go-to-market strategy in close partnership with Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

What You’ll Be Working On:Redefine Market Positioning & Drive Brand Leadership
  • Define and communicate a differentiated value proposition in the creator marketing and influencer space, positioning the company as the leading platform that turns creator content into measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and a clear narrative that align Sales, Product, and Marketing around a unified story.
  • Build thought leadership through content, events, partnerships, and community engagement to establish the company as an industry authority.
  • Partner with People Operations to enhance employer brand visibility and attract top talent.
Influence Product Direction & Create Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Coordinate launches, positioning, and adoption strategies that connect customer needs to innovation.
  • Close the loop with Product by gathering customer feedback - both directly and in partnership with Customer Success - and contextualizing it.
  • Leverage analytics, customer insights, industry knowledge, and intuition to develop both product and go-to-market strategies. Define the ideal customer profile (ICP). Define pricing and packaging.
  • Create a cohesive story and go-to-market framework for our Agency Services offering.
Drive Predictable Pipeline Growth and Performance Tracking
  • Build processes that enable marketing to scale efficiently and deliver measurable impact.
  • Build and maintain strong data foundations through effective marketing operations, attribution, and performance visibility — establishing and tracking key metrics such as lead-to-opportunity conversion rates, campaign ROI, and marketing-attributed revenue.
  • Aligning closely with Sales on measurable pipeline targets, lead quality, messaging, and enablement programs.
  • Optimize demand generation and lifecycle marketing programs to support mid-market and enterprise growth, using data-driven insights to refine and improve performance over time.
Lead and Develop the Marketing Team
  • Design a team structure to support scale and clarity across Brand, Product Marketing, and Growth functions.
  • Coach and mentor team members to build expertise, accountability, and career development.
  • Create a performance-driven culture grounded in shared goals, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Foster curiosity, creativity, and excellence in execution across all marketing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:Must-Haves
  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 4 years leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and measurable marketing impact on revenue.
  • Strength in both brand and performance marketing — able to craft compelling narratives and optimize conversion efficiency.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills — comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
  • Operational discipline — builds scalable systems and clear measurement frameworks that support growth.
  • Strategic agility — able to balance long-term brand vision with short-term execution priorities.
  • Empathetic leader who develops talent and creates accountability-driven, high-trust teams.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in martech, creator economy, influencer marketing, or adjacent industries.
  • Background in mid-market and enterprise go-to-market motions.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) strategies and metrics.
  • Experience developing retention-focused marketing programs.
  • Experience with product and/or distribution partnerships.
  • Experience working with the creator and influencer ecosystem.
  • Prior experience scaling marketing teams during high-growth stages ($10-50M ARR).
Benefits & Perks
  • Comprehensive Benefits – Full health, dental, and vision insurance to keep you covered.
  • Remote Work Flexibility – Thrive in a high-energy, high-performing team—all from the comfort of your home. We provide support for your internet and home office setup.
  • 401(k) Plan – Save for your future with our competitive 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Flexible PTO – Recharge and take time off whenever you need with our flexible paid time off policy.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Four months of fully paid leave for new moms and dads—one of the best policies in the industry.
  • Ongoing Training & Development – We invest in your growth with customized training, coaching, and career acceleration opportunities—while building clearer, more defined career paths. Plus, take advantage of our annual education stipend to keep learning on your terms.
  • End-of-Year Break – We typically close between Christmas and New Year’s to give everyone time to unplug and recharge. Availability may vary by team based on workload and customer support needs.

The base salary for this role is between $180,000-240,000 and this role will be eligible for bonus.

  • Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
