Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We’re challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where ‘ethical’, ‘lending’, and ‘insurance’ can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn’t be confusing or complex, so we’ve focused on simplicity. We’ve created the only unbiased loan and insurance buying process out there, which makes finding options straightforward and clear.

About the Role:

Credible, a FOX Corporation company, is seeking a dynamic and data-driven leader to oversee our Marketing team. As a trusted consumer marketplace, Credible helps millions of people make smarter decisions—from student loans to mortgages to consumer goods. Backed by the reach and resources of FOX, we are uniquely positioned to blend performance-driven marketing with the credibility of a household media brand.

In this role, you will own and scale Credible’s customer acquisition engine across Paid Media, Organic Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing. From search and social campaigns to SEO and content strategies, emailing and customer retention, you will be responsible for leading a team that drives sustainable growth, builds our brand presence, and deepens engagement with consumers across Credible.com and our publisher partner network.

Reporting to the CEO, this role is a highly visible and influential role—both inside Credible and across its broader media ecosystem. You’ll work cross-functionally with Business Development, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering, while leading exceptional teams in Paid, Organic, and Lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical with an understanding of customer behavior and sensible creative aesthetic. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment, and are passionate about using marketing to help consumers make great decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and optimize a multi-brand marketing strategy spanning Credible’s owned properties and our strategic media publisher partner network.
  • Own and lead Credible’s multi-channel marketing strategy, spanning Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, SEO, Content, and Lifecycle marketing.
  • Scale acquisition campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, and emerging paid media platforms, while building long-term organic visibility through SEO and content excellence.
  • Lead a data-driven Lifecycle Marketing program that leverages segmentation, behavioral insights, and automation to deliver the right message at the right time, maximizing customer life-time-value (LTV) and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Credible’s Business Development team to maximize economics, reach, unlock new distribution channels, and dominate share-of-voice in competitive categories.\
  • Own budgeting and P&L accountability—set ambitious but achievable goals for revenue, profit, CAC, LTV, traffic, and ROI, and ensure disciplined execution against them.
  • Build and scale high-performing Paid, Organic, and Lifecycle teams, empowering leaders while ensuring alignment across channels.
  • Conduct market sizing and ROI modeling to prioritize opportunities, balancing immediate revenue impact with sustainable brand authority.
  • Establish clear measurement frameworks, tracking both leading indicators and long-term outcomes to guide decisions and optimize spend.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation—using data, insights, and testing to continuously refine acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Stay at the forefront of ad tech, analytics, content optimization, and performance marketing best practices to keep Credible ahead of the curve.
 Education & Experience

We know the “perfect” candidate doesn’t exist, so if you meet most of the criteria below and are excited about the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with senior leadership across Paid Media, Organic Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and executing large-scale acquisition strategies with measurable ROI.
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams, spanning Performance, Organic, and Lifecycle.
  • Strong background in budget ownership, P&L accountability, and revenue forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success in working with external partners and publishers; media industry or financial services experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of people management, with a passion for coaching and scaling teams.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
