About the Role:

The Vice President, Marketing Excellence & Transformation is a strategic leader responsible for driving the evolution of CrowdStrike’s global marketing organization through data-driven insight, cross-functional planning, and AI-powered transformation. A direct report to the Chief Marketing Officer, this global role will serve as a Marketing Center of Excellence to define and operationalize the strategic frameworks, tools, and processes that accelerate go-to-market performance, combine brand-to-demand execution, and enable marketing excellence across the portfolio.

The Vice President, Marketing Excellence & Transformation is a strategic leader responsible for driving the evolution of CrowdStrike’s global marketing organization through data-driven insight, cross-functional planning, and AI-powered transformation. A direct report to the Chief Marketing Officer, this global role will serve as a Marketing Center of Excellence to define and operationalize the strategic frameworks, tools, and processes that accelerate go-to-market performance, unify brand-to-demand execution, and enable marketing excellence across the portfolio.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area (preferred)

What You'll Do:

Strategic Planning & Frameworks

  • Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning processes (AOP, EQBR, BOD) to align marketing objectives with corporate growth priorities.

  • Build and evolve cross-portfolio frameworks that connect brand, demand generation, campaigns, and launch strategies.

  • Develop and manage a 3-year roadmap to guide marketing transformation and capability development.

Insights & Analytics

  • Lead the development and analysis of marketing KPIs, ROI dashboards, and performance insights that inform decision-making.

  • Lead Voice of the Customer programs and platform strategies that drive “land and expand” motions.

  • Partner with finance and operations to ensure marketing investments are optimized for impact and efficiency.

AI Innovation & Transformation

  • Champion the adoption of AI and advanced analytics to modernize marketing processes, personalization, and measurement.

  • Lead change management initiatives focused on upskilling teams, reimagining workflows, and integrating new technologies.

  • Serve as the executive sponsor for AI transformation within marketing — ensuring alignment to CrowdStrike’s broader innovation strategy.

Strategic Initiatives & Operational Integration

  • Act as an incubator for new marketing programs, pilots, and innovation initiatives.

  • Drive operational excellence and integration across M&A activities, ensuring seamless marketing alignment post-acquisition.

  • Establish governance and process frameworks to improve efficiency, agility, and collaboration across global marketing.

Cross-Marketing Enablement & Culture

  • Lead internal marketing communications to strengthen alignment, transparency, and engagement.

  • Partner with the CMO and HR to drive marketing career and skills development programs.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, and continuous improvement across all levels of the marketing organization.

What You'll Need:

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years in a strategic or transformation-focused role. Prior CMO experience is a plus.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional strategy, planning, and operational excellence in a high-growth global organization. Highly collaborative and able to connect dots across marketing functions and cross-functional teams.

  • Deep expertise in marketing analytics, performance measurement, and an intellectual curiosity to chart the course and lead AI-driven marketing transformation.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.

  • Experience within B2B high performance organizations across cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology strongly preferred.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $280,000.00 - 325,000.00 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
