About us

Coffee has side-effects (ruined gut, jitters, and dry skin), and people take that as the status quo. Everyday Dose has created a coffee mixture that smells and tastes like the real thing, without the side-effects. We’re on a mission to re-write what a 1,200 year-old habit looks like, and we need people who care deeply about making other people’s lives better.

Role Summary

The VP of Brand owns how Everyday Dose shows up in the world- emotionally, visually, verbally, and experientially by leading organic social, creative, events, and our robust community.

This role is responsible for building a brand that people feel, not just recognize. You’ll steward the long-term brand vision while ensuring it shows up clearly and consistently across every touchpoint: product, packaging, content, performance marketing, retail, community, and culture.

This is not a “big idea only” role. It’s a strategy-to-execution leadership role that blends intuition, taste, systems thinking, and commercial impact.

  • Define, evolve, and execute the Everyday Dose’s brand strategy as the business scales
  • Own positioning, narratives, audience clarity, and brand architecture
  • Ensure the brand remains emotionally resonant, differentiated, and culturally relevant
  • Act as the ultimate brand decision-maker and steward
  • Gear up Everyday Dose for retail success by enhancing brand awareness and helping to turn us into a household name.

  • Ensure all storytelling feels human and unmistakably Everyday Dose
  • Balance brand-building with performance-driven creative needs
  • Push for originality while protecting brand coherence
Brand Systems & Consistency
  • Build and maintain strong brand systems: voice, tone, messaging, visual identity
  • Ensure consistency across paid, organic, email/SMS, website, packaging, retail, and PR
  • Create guardrails that empower teams, not slow them down
  • Identify when the brand is drifting and course-correct quickly
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Growth to align brand and performance (no silos)
  • Collaborate with Product and Innovation to shape launches and line extensions
  • Work with CX and Community to ensure brand promises match real customer experience and solve real customer problems
  • Be a clear, confident voice in executive decision-making
Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing brand and creative team
  • Set clear standards for quality, taste, and execution
  • Create a culture of thoughtful iteration, not constant reinvention
What Success Looks Like
  • Everyday Dose feels emotionally distinctive and instantly recognizable
  • The brand scales without dilution; clarity increases as complexity grows
  • Creative consistently performs and builds long-term brand equity
  • Customers feel a deeper connection, not just awareness
  • Teams move faster because brand clarity is strong

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years in brand leadership roles within CPG, wellness, or lifestyle within DTC and retail spaces
  • Proven experience scaling a brand across channels while maintaining taste and integrity
  • Strong creative instincts paired with operational rigor
  • Ability to zoom out (vision) and zoom in (execution) seamlessly
  • Confident decision-maker who can balance intuition, data, and business needs
  • Deep respect for the customer and the emotional side of consumption
  • Comfortable partnering directly with a founder and executive team

Bonus Points

  • Experience in subscription based DTC
  • Track record of building cult-like brand affinity
  • Strong POV on modern wellness, rituals, and daily habits
  • Experience navigating brand through periods of rapid growth
Why This Role Matters

Everyday Dose isn’t just a product. It’s a daily ritual. This role ensures that as we grow, that feeling doesn’t get lost. You’ll help shape not only how the brand looks and sounds, but how it lives in people’s lives.

  • Health care coverage (medical, dental, vision)
  • Health & wellness stipend to support your daily rituals and wellbeing
  • 401(k) with company participation
  • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility and autonomy

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
