This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects with increasing complexity while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners across the business.
What You'll Do:
- Execute multiple overlapping short- and long-form projects of moderate scope within guidelines set by leadership, with limited oversight and approval
- Prioritize work across concurrent assignments to meet project milestones and evolving deadlines
- Contribute to creative and workflow direction improvements based on guidance from leadership and project learnings
- Work directly with peers and Studio Creative Directors to review in-progress and completed edits, translating feedback into actionable revisions
- Support all stages of Post Production, including basic Color, Motion Graphics, and Audio
- Assemble footage into rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining creative and organizational standards
- Collaborate with Colorists, Audio Engineers, and Motion Graphics Artists on all elevated content
- Collaborate with Motion Graphics Artists to create and update MGRTS based on project needs
- Ensure all content is delivered to correct technical specifications and brand standards
- Work with footage received from internal studio production teams as well as external vendors
- Support other Video Editors by taking on projects in varying stages of completion and contributing to team delivery
- Participate in the digital Quality Control (QC) process, ensuring deliverables meet technical and creative standards
- Identify potential production or workflow issues and escalate with proposed solutions
- Adapt to shifting creative direction and project needs while maintaining efficiency and quality
- Earn trust through clear, proactive communication with peers, stakeholders, and leadership
- Work on other projects as assigned
What You'll Need:
- 5+ Years of Video Editing experience
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep passion for everything Video Editing
- Fundamental understanding of dialog editing, retention editing, and eye tracing
- Well-rounded understanding of all aspects of Post Production
- Ability to receive and interpret creative feedback and translate it into effective revisions
- General knowledge of media asset management (MAM) systems
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proven ability to identify challenges and contribute to practical solutions within projects
- Active listener with strong critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Available to work on weekends and evenings when needed
