Description

For many of us, there’s that one podcast we never miss, and video content is part of our daily routine—whether it’s professional or personal. But how many of us truly understand the effort that goes on behind the scenes? Here at Riverside, we know it well. That’s exactly why we built an AI-powered platform that helps content creators, podcasters, marketers, and major brands like Spotify, TED, NBC, Netflix, and Disney capture and create high-quality audio and video content with ease.

Riverside’s technology streamlines the entire content creation process, turning real conversations into professional-grade videos, podcasts, webinars, and whatever comes next. The best part? AI-driven tools replace traditional production hurdles, automating recording and editing workflows at the click of a button.

About the Role

We are looking for a Video Education Manager to own product education end-to-end. You'll be the face of Riverside on camera—creating every video yourself from script to final cut, producing product education videos for our YouTube channel, delivering product demos, and developing the new Riverside University into the ultimate learning hub for our users.

This is a high-ownership and highly cross-functional role for someone who is equal parts teacher, creator, and product expert, and who wants their work seen by a global audience. You are also the ultimate proof that the product works: every video you publish is produced in Riverside, by you, end-to-end.

On Your Day-to-Day

You will drive product education strategy and independently produce every video—scripting, shooting, and editing as the primary face of Riverside on camera. You'll scale our YouTube tutorials, build Riverside University into a premier learning hub, and teach new features the moment they ship. Working closely with Product, Marketing, Design, and Social, you'll ensure our content looks exceptional while channeling user feedback directly back into our product lifecycle.

Requirements
  • On-camera experience: You're comfortable and genuinely good presenting to a lens, and it shows. Include links to yourself on camera in your application (a reel, a YouTube channel, tutorials, a talk, anything that shows you presenting and teaching).
  • Video editing: You can take raw footage to a finished, polished piece entirely on your own.
  • A gift for making complex things simple: You can teach a first-time user and a power user in the same breath, without dumbing anything down.
  • Fluency in the creator and content world: You understand how people actually make and publish content, and you speak their language.
  • Excellent English: Native English is a must.
  • Experience with creating content strategy and turning it into growth.
  • Technical setup knowledge: Cameras, mics, lighting, and capture gear. You can recommend a setup with confidence.

Bottom line? If you want to take part in transforming how people and businesses share their stories globally, Riverside is your place. The work is challenging, the culture is fast-paced, and the people are exceptionally brilliant. And if that’s not enough, we guarantee that your work will genuinely make an impact on a global audience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
