We're seeking an exceptional Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our Los Angeles team as a strong individual contributor with the potential to grow into a Lead Editor role overseeing creative teams.

What You'll Do:
- Create compelling, high-performance social media ads that align with creative briefs and drive measurable results
- Design dynamic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand messaging
- Collaborate closely with strategists, creative leads, and editors to optimize video and graphics content tailored for social platforms
- Apply performance insights and creative feedback to continually refine and elevate ad effectiveness
- Take creative ownership of projects while remaining highly receptive to feedback and iteration
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to creative process improvements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
- Maintain organized and efficient Adobe project files
What We're Looking For:
Creative Excellence:
- 4+ years of professional experience creating engaging digital content for social media platforms
- Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro skills with a strong foundation in storytelling and pacing
- Intermediate+ Adobe After Effects proficiency, including motion graphics, kinetic typography, and visual effects
- Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills for graphic design, asset creation, and creative problem-solving
- Deep understanding of social media optimization and platform-specific best practices
Leadership Potential:
- 1-2 years of mentoring, training, or informal leadership experience (formal management experience preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate creative decisions and provide constructive feedback
- Strong collaborative mindset with interest in developing others and improving team processes
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently
Professional Skills:
- Quick learner who thrives on feedback, adapts rapidly to new challenges, and takes ownership of creative work
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Interest in understanding performance data and creative optimization
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools (Midjourney, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
