Job Duties: Collaborate with our global trading and operations teams and Aladdin Business to deliver multi-asset trading solutions and technology across global markets. Support Fixed Income and FX trading connectivity. Build knowledge of FIX protocols and their application to financial services workflows within Order Execution Management Systems, Electronic Communication Networks and Post Trade Confirmations. Provide clear business requirements and liaise with the development team to drive the functional gaps through development and to the end user. Define workflows and specifications, liaise with development, test internally and with the counterparts, and deploy to our customers including training them when necessary. Define FIX requirements/specifications and propose new FIX workflows to extend electronic trading and post trade processes and protocols. Lead multiple technology projects throughout the software development lifecycle -iincluding release process, testing, certification, deployment, and training, all while aligning with client SLAs. Work directly with Clients, Brokers, and Platforms to certify, build and roll out new FIX connections. Manage the full lifecycle of new workflows and FIX sessions onboarding. Partner with engineers to bring specifications to life via the Aladdin product. Track and measure progress for each electronic trading initiative to ensure we deliver best in class capabilities on time. Participate in industry events, panels and conferences to keep abreast of the market trends.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field, and 72 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Businness, Finance, or related field, and 48 months of experience in job offered, or closely related role. Experience with multiple FIX versions including 4.2, 4.4, and 5.0; Multiple Asset classes including Equities, Derivatives, FX and Fixed Income; Understanding of TCP and IP, firewalls, and connectivity issues in financial networks; Supporting global trading activities using technology solutions; Electronic trading end-to-end workflows including axes, orders, executions, allocations, and confirmations; Client integration for Foreign Exchange trading including NDFs, options, swaps and swaptions; Cross team collaboration with sales, technology, traders, operations, regulatory and services teams; Collaboration with external parties including clients and trading counterparties; Methodical development and execution of test plans to certify trading workflows; Working in a UNIX environment; Working with SQL, and corresponding tools such as Aqua DataStudio; Working with ticket management systems including Microsoft Azure DevOps, or Atlassian JIRA.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$210,000.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
