About this role

This position is within the workplace operations team, overseeing information barrier compliance within physical space for global office locations among other responsibilities. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented administrator who can work with various teams across the organization to find solutions for space & occupancy to meet regulatory controls, maintain records and communicate effectively.

This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, maintaining documentation for audit purposes, and aligning various workplace operations systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate globally with occupancy managers, business representatives, L&C and enterprise security on managing access restrictions and develop effective space & occupancy solutions to always ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Facilitate and manage meetings to gather comprehensive business insights, secure necessary approvals, coordinate detailed project requirements, and oversee them thorough implementation and meticulous documentation
  • Develop and manage central repository for all information/ guidelines needed by various stakeholders and maintain on-going changes as required
  • Responsible for documentation required to support periodic audits for space compliance in alignment with guidelines laid out by L&C

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university with minimum 5 years experience directly related to facilities and/or space management
  • Project management experience is required
  • Extensive experience in occupancy planning, to drive quick, cost-effective solutions based on specific site requirements/ conditions
  • Conducts analysis and review of work area(s) affected by restacks and moves with site space managers to ensure all business, compliance and ES requirements are met
  • Proficiency with computer aided space management systems to pull reports and data as needed
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to physical space management
  • Good understanding of enterprise security systems to help align acc
  • Teamwork and excellent communication is essential in this role, as you will work closely with colleagues from different departments to achieve common goals and ensure seamless operations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage global consistency
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate, address problems and multi-task. Ability to adapt to change when the need arises.


 

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$115,000.00 - USD$162,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
