Job Title: Vice President, Revenue & Business Operations

Company Overview

Prompt Health is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the therapy EMR space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking for a Vice President of Revenue & Business Operations to build and lead the commercial operating system for Prompt’s next stage of growth.

About the Role

Reporting directly to our Co-Founder, you will lead our established Revenue Operations and Business Operations teams through their respective team leads and partner closely with our Head of Revenue and leaders across Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Client Success, Finance, and Product.

Prompt operates in a complex, multi-product vertical SaaS environment, serving outpatient rehabilitation practices across physical therapy, chiropractic, pediatrics, and adjacent verticals. Our customers range from startups to some of the largest enterprise rehab organizations in the country. As we continue to scale, growth requires deliberate account selection, disciplined market penetration, segment-specific resource allocation, reliable forecasting, and coordinated new-business and expansion motions.

Revenue Operations will define the commercial plan, logic, metrics, and decision rules. Business Operations will translate them into scalable CRM, data, automation, and systems architecture. Functional leaders will continue to own their teams, revenue commitments, and field execution. You will ensure they are operating from a coherent plan, trusted data, and infrastructure that scales, while challenging assumptions when the evidence says something is off.

We’re doing something special here, and this role will be critical in helping Prompt scale through its next phase of growth.

What You’ll Own

  • Revenue Planning & Performance Architecture: Lead the analytical backbone of annual and quarterly planning across new business, retention, and expansion. Translate company goals into pipeline, capacity, hiring, ramp, productivity, and coverage requirements, and make tradeoffs visible through clear scenario models.

  • Market & Account Strategy: Own the source of truth for Prompt’s account universe and the operating rules for segmentation, tiering, ownership, recycling, suppression, whitespace, and market penetration. Partner with Marketing, BDR, and Sales to turn the available TAM into executable account cohorts and measure demos, opportunities, and revenue per account enrolled.

  • Forecasting & Revenue Truth: Establish common lifecycle stages, definitions, and metrics and build the process and infrastructure behind credible forecasts. Sales and Account Management leaders own judgment and the commit; you own the system, accuracy analysis, independent challenge, and early visibility into risk.

  • Funnel & Productivity Insights: Diagnose conversion, velocity, ACV, win-loss patterns, demo yield, and team productivity by specialty, segment, channel, product, and cohort. Bring leaders root-cause analysis and specific recommendations, not simply more dashboards.

  • GTM Design & Resource Allocation: Model and recommend coverage, territories, quotas, capacity, rules of engagement, and process changes. Functional leaders own execution and behavior; you own the analytical model, governance, implementation, and measurement.

  • Multi-Product & Customer Lifecycle Operations: Help design and operationalize Prompt’s cross-sell, expansion, and retention motions. Connect the data, attribution, routing, and handoffs from first touch through implementation, renewal, and growth.

  • Revenue Operations & Business Operations Leadership: Set one strategy and prioritized roadmap across both teams.

  • Systems, Data & Automation: Own the multi-year roadmap for CRM architecture, reporting and data infrastructure, integrations, workflow automation, data integrity, and AI-enabled internal tools. Make disciplined build, buy, and consolidation decisions while preventing configuration debt.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

  • Align the Organization & Roadmap: Assess both teams, clarify ownership and service levels, prioritize the commercial and systems roadmap, and resolve the data or architecture constraints that create the greatest near-term risk.

  • Create One Revenue Model: Work with sales leadership to build a bottom-up plan by specialty, segment, product, and motion.

  • Make Our TAM Executable: Establish trusted account data, tiering, ownership, and recycling rules, and operationalize the first play-based BDR cohorts with measurable improvement in held demos, opportunities, and revenue per account enrolled.

  • Increase Predictability: Create common definitions, a credible forecast operating system, and early-warning indicators that let leaders identify and address performance gaps before they reach the number.

  • Connect the Full Customer Lifecycle: Install an end-to-end scorecard across new business, retention, expansion, and product adoption so GTM reviews produce decisions and action.

What You’ll Bring

  • Commercial Revenue Operations Leadership: A record of leading Revenue Operations or GTM Strategy and Operations in a scaled B2B SaaS environment and improving measurable commercial outcomes across BDR, Sales, Marketing, and Account Management or Client Success.

  • Planning & Modeling Depth: Fluency in bottom-up revenue planning, capacity, territories, quotas, pipeline requirements, forecasting, retention, expansion, and scenario analysis.

  • Market Discipline: Experience in a market where account selection, coverage, recycling, and reputation matter more than indiscriminate lead volume.

  • Executive Partnership & Judgment: The credibility to influence senior leaders, challenge functional assumptions, explain tradeoffs clearly, and make a recommendation when the data is incomplete.

  • Systems & Architecture Judgment: Enough CRM, data-model, integration, automation, and governance depth to direct technical teams and evaluate their work. You do not need to configure every system yourself, but you must know what durable design looks like.

  • Leadership Through Leaders: Experience managing managers or team leads, setting a high operating bar, developing talent, and creating accountability across interdependent teams.

  • Analytical Fluency & Follow-Through: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability and comfort with CRM and BI tools; SQL is a plus. You can move from analysis to requirements, implementation, adoption, and measured impact.

What Would Make You Stand Out

These are strong preferences, not requirements.

  • Vertical SaaS or Healthcare Technology: Experience with mission-critical software sold into a finite market, including EMR, RCM, provider workflow, or an analogous industry-specific system of record.

  • Range Across Motions: Exposure to SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise, plus both new-business and expansion motions within a multi-product portfolio.

  • Comparable Growth & Complexity: Experience supporting a company or meaningful business unit through a substantial portion of an approximately $100M–$300M ARR growth journey, or at comparable organizational and data complexity.

This role can be based anywhere in the United States. Travel is expected for several office visits, planning sessions, and selected customer or industry meetings each year.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
