Who we’re looking for;
 
Graylog is currently recruiting for a Vice President of Product Marketing who is equal parts strategic and hands-on to lead our product marketing function and elevate our positioning in a highly competitive market.
 
The Vice President of Product Marketing will have the opportunity to define and lead the product marketing vision here at Graylog where we’re solving the most urgent problems in cybersecurity and log management.
 
As the Vice President of Product Marketing, you will own the end-to-end strategy for go-to-market (GTM) planning, messaging, technical marketing & enablement, and content development.
 
You will lead and mentor a high-performing team who are ready for transformation, including a Director of Technical Marketing and a Content Marketing Director, to drive demand, educate the market, and fuel sales success.
 
With full executive backing and the autonomy to lead from the front, this role would suit a hands-on strategic leader eager to build, fix, and scale in a high-impact environment.

The Vice President of Product Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer based in US.

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Leading and aligning cross-functional go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Drive positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and customer insights.
  • Manage a team of senior marketers with responsibilities across technical marketing and content marketing.
  • Collaborate and partner closely with the Vice President of Demand Generation to ensure cohesive execution across campaigns, content, and pipeline development.
  • Serve as the executive face of Product Marketing across leadership forums and strategy discussions.
  • Create foundational sales enablement programs and tools.
  • Translate market intelligence into strategy and deliver high-impact narratives to internal and external audiences.
  • Refine analyst relations strategy and executive briefings in partnership with the Vice President of Product.
  • Manage Graylog’s Clozd-based win/loss interview process and ensure actionable synthesis of findings.

  • What your first 90 days may look like.

    Establish GTM & Enablement Infrastructure

  • Design and implement a scalable go-to-market strategy for new product launches and updates within your first 120 days. Create the first full set of enablement assets for the top three products and introduce a recurring GTM interlock cadence with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Reestablish Strategic Credibility of Product Marketing

  • Deliver quarterly “Market Intelligence Briefs” to the Executive team that synthesize win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer trends. Use insights to shape the roadmap and strategic messaging.

  • Represent PMM at the Executive Table

  • Serve as the voice of the market and the customer in senior leadership forums, translating business goals into marketing outcomes and vice versa.

  • You are a hands-on, strategic, data-driven product marketing leader with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape. You’ll thrive at the intersection of product, sales, and market strategy with the innate ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions.
  • You’ll have led high-performing teams and launched successful go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue.
  • You’re as comfortable at the executive level refining market positioning as you are in the field with sales, enabling them with the tools they need to win. You understand how to influence buyer behaviour in a competitive and fast-evolving market.
  • Above all, you’re passionate about empowering teams, enabling growth, and helping customers understand how our solutions solve their most critical cybersecurity and log management challenges.

  • Additional experience such as;

  • Extensive background in a product marketing-focused senior leadership role within the cybersecurity industry. B2B SaaS preferred.
  • Proven success in delivering product launches and GTM strategies with measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Expertise in positioning, storytelling, segmentation, messaging frameworks, and buyer personas.
  • Thorough analytical instincts (market sizing, ROI, usage insights).
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with remote management and distributed team structures.
