Job responsibilities
- Strategy: Advance the design and implementation of a quality strategy for employer-sponsored insurance that can be scaled and tested in the market (e.g., with Morgan Health portfolio companies, JPMC, other employers, carriers), building on the experiences of JPMC and other employers.
- Implementation and evaluation: Execute quality initiatives working collaboratively with colleagues within Morgan Health, our portfolio companies, JPMorganChase, and benefits ecosystem partners (e.g., employers, carriers, trade organizations). Utilize experience in health care data, population health, and quality measurement to support the evaluation of JPMC pilots and portfolio companies and answer complex business questions.
- Market engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders and ecosystem partners to stay abreast of market innovation, regularly share and seek feedback on the Morgan Health quality strategy, and participate in quality initiatives. Regularly present at conferences and panels to share Morgan Health's learnings
- Writing and communication: Develop content pieces for a public, employer/business, and start-up audience, including practical resources and tools (e.g., guides) and thought leadership, that can be shared externally to help organizations implement or adapt learnings from the Morgan Health's population health and quality initiatives. Clearly communicate concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strategic and creative thinker with experience designing and implementing new programs.
- Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders balancing multiple projects at once.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate and draw conclusions from data based on expertise in quality measurement, population health, understanding of data limitations, and business acumen.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills. This includes the ability to break down complex topics into easy to follow content and concepts. Enjoys presenting on panels and at conferences.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player and feel no task is too big or too small to take on to advance our collective efforts.
- To be successful in this role, the Vice President should be a dynamic leader and strategic thinker with an ability to drive work forward from design to implementation and evaluation. Most importantly, they must have a passion for improving health outcomes and the patient experience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience, or a Masters Degree and 5 years work experience.
- Hands on experience in quality measurement or population health is required; experience with medical and pharmaceutical claims is preferred.
- Experience in value-based care and incentive design is preferred
