POSITION PURPOSE:
The Private Wealth Group, National Accounts is seeking a Vice President to support CIM’s fundraising campaigns across its platform of real estate, infrastructure and debt offerings at Independent Broker Dealers, with a particular emphasis on larger client platforms as well as some Regional Broker Dealers. This position is remote with a preference of MidAmerica and will report to the 1st VP, National Accounts. An ideal candidate should have relevant national accounts coverage experience working with large Independent Broker Dealers and some experience working with National and Regional Wirehouses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Foster a collaborative approach by leveraging internal resources across the distribution value chain; drive campaigns through cross-functional coordination with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Product teams.
- Initiate and manage marketing, sales, and service support initiatives in partnership with sales leadership, wholesalers, and support staff.
- Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with new and existing broker-dealer partners.
- Conduct regular travel to broker-dealer home offices to identify sales opportunities, secure product approvals, and strengthen partnerships.
- Deliver periodic sponsor reviews to clients, including firm overviews, wholesaler activity, platform availability, sales performance data, marketing initiatives, and additional capabilities.
- Coordinate and attend broker-dealer and industry conferences; identify post-conference opportunities for the sales team and provide comprehensive recaps.
- Educate financial advisors on CIM Group and promote available product offerings.
- Share best practices with the sales team to enhance advisor engagement and improve sales process efficiency.
- Build new relationships while maintaining and deepening existing ones.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIM Group’s marketing campaigns, websites, value-add offerings, and product positioning relative to competitors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
- 10+ years’ experience with a significant understanding of relationship management and product management.
- Industry experience in commercial real estate or financial services a plus.
- Ability to use sound judgment in negotiation and pricing discussions.
- Extensive travel required (70%).
- Field experience, either internal or external a plus.
- Experience working with financial advisors and broker/dealers.
- Active FINRA Licenses (Series 7, 63).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Sales Force required.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.
