Our vision is to build the operating system for risk—from customer management and market access to embedded products and compliance tools. We’re now looking for a Vice President of Engineering to help us deliver at scale and lead our engineering function into the next stage of growth.
The Role
As VP of Engineering, you will partner closely with the Chief Product Officer / Co-founder to drive execution across our platform roadmap. You’ll lead the day-to-day engineering function—managing team development, sprint delivery, technical standards, and scaling processes to support a multi-vertical product business.
This is a foundational leadership role for someone who knows how to ship fast, scale teams, and create structure without bureaucracy. You will play a critical role in recruiting, developing, and inspiring a team of world-class engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional squads across Customer Outcome Teams, Agent Experience, and Integrations..
- Build and mentor engineering managers & tech leads; scale org from 20 to 50+ FTE.
- Own engineering quality metrics: DORA, defect escape rate, coverage, SLO/SLA attainment.
- Drive agile execution (OKR alignment, sprint planning, release governance, incident response).
- Partner with Product & AI to balance new feature velocity with tech‑debt and platform hardening.
- Implement robust DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, and observability practices.
Ideal Candidate
- 12+ yrs software engineering; 5+ yrs senior leadership scaling SaaS engineering orgs.
- Track record of shipping AI‑enabled, multi‑tenant cloud products under high uptime.
- Expertise in AWS and modern DevOps toolchain (K8s/serverless, Terraform, GitOps, observability stacks).
- People‑first leader; experienced in building inclusive, feedback‑rich cultures.
- Comfortable partnering with Product & GTM; able to translate business metrics into engineering goals.
