Vice President, Creative Operations & Production
Game Show Group
The Vice President, Creative Operations & Production is a senior leader who drives the end-to-end operational, production, and post-production ecosystem for all marketing content across Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! They also play a critical role in overseeing sales material for the Game Show Group development team. This role ensures that creative ambition is matched by operational excellence, supporting campaigns and day-to-day content needs across linear/broadcast, streaming, digital, social, consumer products, licensing, and development. The VP oversees a large cross-functional pipeline, modernizes workflows, and ensures the teams deliver best-in-class assets that strengthen the brands and propel growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Establish and manage operational frameworks that enable high-volume, high-quality creative output across multiple formats and channels.
- Partner with senior Production, Marketing, & Creative leadership to set long-term priorities and capacity plans that align with business goals.
- Evolve workflows and toolsets to support modern content creation, asset management, and cross-platform distribution.
- Build, maintain, and optimize annual budgets, production calendars, and resource allocations for all campaign and ongoing content.
Production Oversight
- Lead all aspects of production—pre-production, field production, stage shoots, and remote productions—for promotional, social, brand, and partner-facing video assets.
- Oversee agency, freelancer, and vendor relationships, ensuring scale, reliability, and adherence to creative and brand standards.
- Ensure all shoots and deliverables meet legal, network, and platform compliance requirements.
- Champion innovation in production techniques, efficient creative hardware/software, and emerging technologies that elevate output and streamline costs.
Video Editorial & Post-Production Management
- Supervise internal and external editorial teams responsible for trailers, spots, sizzles, social videos, streaming promos, franchise content, and development materials.
- Drive a strong editorial point of view that upholds the narrative identity of both franchises across platforms.
- Oversee the full post-production pipeline, including editorial, graphics, finishing, QC, audio mix, and final delivery.
- Ensure robust versioning workflows to support broadcast, paid digital and paid/organic social, and international needs.
Cross-Platform Collaboration
- Partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Social, Publicity, and Partnership teams to ensure cohesive messaging and efficient project flow.
- Support development across new franchise extensions (spin-offs, pilots, specials), helping shape presentation materials and go-to-market creative.
- Work with distribution teams to ensure timely and technically correct delivery to broadcast networks, streaming platforms, partners, and internal channels.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team spanning production management, editors, producers, and operational leads.
- Foster a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, creative excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices for communication, feedback, and cross-department alignment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in creative or marketing operations, production, or post-production within entertainment, broadcast, streaming, or digital media.
- Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multi-platform creative pipelines and high-volume asset production.
- Deep experience managing editorial teams, agencies, and vendors.
- Strong command of current production and post-production technologies, workflows, and delivery specs (broadcast, digital, and social).
- Proven ability to lead through influence, navigate large organizations, and build consensus across stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for iconic game show brands and an instinct for translating franchise legacy into modern, multi-platform storytelling.
