Job Description

The Global Capital Solutions team focuses on liabilities sourcing and financing, as well as asset sourcing and strategic counterparty relationships across the Ares platform.

Purpose

Ares Management is seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Vice President to join the Global Capital Solutions team, focusing on sourcing and structuring Corporate Credit financing and debt capital needs. The role requires a dynamic, adaptive, experienced hands-on professional to ensure best practices in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Support the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of asset-backed lending (ABL), structured credit, and corporate financing opportunities for the Global Direct Lending Group.

  • Assist in evaluating various financing transactions and debt capital needs for both public and private funds including BDCs, interval funds, comingled funds, SMAs, and fund of ones.

  • Work closely with fund portfolio managers, internal credit, legal, and other internal groups throughout the deal lifecycle.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and support ongoing liability management efforts.

  • Maintain market intelligence on emerging financing solutions and market trends.

Profile & Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in structured finance, direct lending, or specialty finance, with a strong focus on asset-backed facilities.

  • Finance and financial services background.

  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, with fluency in fund return modeling specific to leverage transactions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deals and stakeholders under tight deadlines.

  • Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated, and a team player.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$200,000.00 - $225,000.00
