We’ve been a part of The Wonderful Company family since 1979, with a nationwide network of florists we’ve become the world’s largest flower delivery service. With more than 10,000 member florists in North America, we lead the industry by working directly with our florists to hand-arrange and hand deliver every bouquet! We’re a sustainable network of locally owned florists. Teleflora provides innovative marketing, education and technology to make sure our member florists get the resources they need to thrive, creating beautiful bouquets with keepsake vases delivered to your door.
We are seeking a customer-centric, data-driven User Experience (UX) eCommerce Specialist to lead the strategy, and optimization of the user journey on Teleflora.com. This role focuses on improving customer satisfaction, engagement, and conversion by delivering an exceptional digital experience grounded in UX best practices, behavioral insights, and continuous testing. Blending creative vision with analytical rigor, this role will be responsible for identifying friction points, driving UX innovations, and championing a seamless and intuitive shopping experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job Description
UX Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of user experience strategies aligned with business goals and customer expectations.
- Identify and address key friction points in navigation, layout, and checkout flow through user research, heatmaps, and analytics.
- Collaborate closely with design, development, and marketing teams to deliver consistent, on-brand, and conversion-focused UX enhancements.
- Stay ahead of emerging UX/UI trends and tools, integrating best practices to ensure Teleflora remains a leader in digital experience.
User-Centered Design & Testing
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate concepts and drive alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with the creative team to translate customer insights into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Design and manage A/B and multivariate tests to validate design decisions, improve usability, and optimize site interactions.
- Capture and integrate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, usability testing, and survey data into UX improvement plans.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Use behavioral analytics, customer feedback, and session data to understand user intent and inform UX strategies.
- Work with the Analytics team to define KPIs, track performance metrics (e.g., bounce rate, time on site, conversion rates), and create dashboards to measure UX impact.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that improve conversion, engagement, and satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key stakeholder and UX advocate in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure cohesive execution of site enhancements and campaigns.
- Align UX goals with eCommerce and brand initiatives to ensure a unified digital presence.
Key Objectives
- Deliver a streamlined and intuitive user experience that drives measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain a customer-first, data-informed UX culture focused on innovation and experimentation.
- Support product merchandising teams by ensuring that the digital presentation of products is aligned with UX standards and usability principles (secondary responsibility).
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce UX/UI strategy, design, and optimization.
- Please note that this is not a UX designer role.
- Strong understanding of human-centered design, user psychology, and UX research methodologies.
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Demonstrated ability to use analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, ContentSquare) to drive decisions and measure success.
- Experience with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize).
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
- Passion for creating delightful, frictionless customer experiences in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
