Description

UK International Soccer are looking for individuals to teach and inspire children aged between 3 and 6 years of age through sport. Soccer is our focus but we also teach a range of fundamental motor skills (running, jumping, throwing etc.) to children in the local community. We are looking for someone with experience of working with young children and PLENTY of enthusiasm!!

What will you do?
a. Before coaching
- Create educational and engaging session plans that relate to the UK International Soccer curriculum.
- Arrive to the session early to set up, ready for the players' arrival.
- Continuously check emails regarding schedules.

b. When coaching
- Run engaging and interactive practices through fun activities
- Be enthusiastic and positive throughout the session.
- Show demonstrations of the skills you are trying to teach.
- Be a professional role model for all players and coaches that you associate with at the fields.

c. After coaching
- Talk to parents after the session to discuss their children's development.
- Maintain communication with your local Regional Manager.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for coaches that have:
- 2-3 years’ experience coaching or teaching children
- 2-3 years’ experience organizing youth programs/events
- Reliable transportation

We’d like coaches to have or be working towards:
- US Soccer grassroot courses
- Experience coaching children within soccer programs
- Experience of playing soccer

Requirements

We are looking for coaches with:

  • Police/background check
  • Experience playing soccer
  • Experience working with children
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team work skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Passion for making soccer fun
  • Passion for helping kids develop their soccer skills
Benefits

You will have the opportunity to earn $18 to $30 an hour
