Q2 Software is looking for an Unified Communications Specialist who will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, support, and maintenance of in-house audio-visual/unified communications systems. This individual is responsible for supporting conference room presentation equipment including, but not limited to, microphones, speakers, screens, projectors, monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for meetings, training presentations, and client conferences. This role will troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training and assistance where required. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to Q2’s high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide end user support for audio-video/unified communications hardware and software systems
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT ticketing system
- Perform daily health checks of conference room UC equipment
- Provide daily administration and support of Q2’s company provided cell phone plan
- Participate in project management and coordination of large UC installation projects
- Prepare for quarterly company presentations from multiple remote locations
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the presentation equipment
- Document internal procedures
- Assist with user training
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Report issues for escalation
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are followed
- Manage UC vendor relationships
- Provide desktop support to internal end-users
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related technical field
2+ years AV/UC technical support
1+ years of AV/UC project management
UC hardware and software platforms including Zoom, Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams, Poly, Crestron, Shure, DSP systems, and others.
Enterprise level MDM experience (JAMF, InTune, Zoom Device Management)
Excellent written and verbal communication, with focus on planning, execution, and follow up.
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
