UI/UX Designer – Momentum Internship Program
Overview: We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to help shape intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-world projects that support both client deliverables and internal initiatives aimed at expanding access to paid internships.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers and developers to gather and evaluate user requirements
Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs, buttons, and widgets
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate functionality and user flow
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Develop responsive designs optimized for mobile and desktop platforms
Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and accessibility standards
Iterate on feedback from stakeholders and end users to refine designs
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
Understanding of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
Strong visual design sense with attention to typography, layout, and color
Ability to create user personas, journey maps, and storyboards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (academic or freelance work welcome)
Passion for user-centered design and continuous learning
