Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Designer who excels at turning mid-fidelity concept work into clear, polished user experiences. You will take defined product flows and leverage existing design system components to transform them into detailed user scenarios and production-ready designs.
This role focuses on translating product flows and requirements into detailed UI and interaction design - ideal for someone who is highly proficient in Figma, comfortable working within a design system, and passionate about building intuitive, scalable product experiences.
What you'll do
- Document user flows with clear annotations to communicate product and design decisions and support engineering implementation
- Translate concepts and feature specifications into detailed end-to-end experiences
- Design user scenarios, high-fidelity UI, and interaction flows in Figma
- Work within an established Figma design system to create consistent, production-ready screens for efficient hand-offs between design and engineering teams
- Use components, variants, and auto layout to build scalable UI patterns
- Collaborate closely with the design team, product managers, and engineers
- Iterate quickly based on feedback, product insights, and shifting priorities
- Ensure consistency across features through thoughtful use of design system components
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design
- Strong proficiency in Figma, especially working within established design systems
- Proven ability to translate product flows into detailed user journeys and polished UI screens
- Experience designing digital products for web and mobile applications
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions with product managers and engineers
- A portfolio showing product design paid work from flows → wireframes → final UI
- Experience designing B2B, SaaS and/or AI products, fast-moving startup environments a plus
- Familiarity with AI workflows, usability testing and user research
- Based in Los Angeles, CA
Compensation
- The base range pay: $95,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
