EyeTell is a new startup brought to you by Chad Hurley, the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube. We are building something new at the intersection of AI and mixed media and are looking for a passionate and experienced Interactive Designer to join our small team.

You will be joining at the ground floor, which is an exciting time! However, because of this, we expect teammates to be in the office most of the time, so if you seek remote-only or remote-mostly, this is not the droid you are looking for.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven track record of success in creating engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web applications and mobile apps

  • Conduct user research and testing to ensure that designs are user-centered and meet user needs

  • Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes

  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency

  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to bring designs to life

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as an interactive designer or UX/UI designer

  • Proven track record of designing successful digital products and experiences

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, InVision and Zeplin

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Qualifications:

  • Experience with front-end development is a plus

  • Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus

  • Passion for creating beautiful and user-friendly digital experiences

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively
