Looking for a UX Designer to maintain a design system, collaborate across teams, and simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences while utilizing AI tools for design efficiency.
We are looking for a UX Designer with strong systems thinking skills who can establish and maintain a scalable design system, collaborate across disciplines, and bring a technical mindset to user problems. The ideal candidate should have experience working on complex systems and in novel problem spaces. Must have a strong portfolio that reflects polished visual design, thoughtful execution, and consistent craft. Be prepared to explain design decisions in portfolio work that reflects shipped, real world products. This designer should be comfortable exploring AI tools to increase efficiency and support innovative design workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and evolve a design system that supports consistency, scalability, and efficient cross team collaboration.
- Translate complex workflows and requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver end to end experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity designs that align with product goals.
- Skilled at driving alignment with leadership by iterating live on calls, capturing feedback in real time, and translating input into clear, convergent design decisions.
- Conduct user research, analyze findings, and incorporate insights into the design process.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure high quality implementation and provide necessary specifications.
- Explore new design and AI tools that can improve workflow and design outcomes.
- Ability to pivot in a dynamic environment and operate effectively in a fast paced, forward thinking team.
- Ability to set standards and establish best practices, not only follow existing ones.
- Be a continuous learner excited about advancing their craft.
Required Skills
- Strong systems thinking skills and experience creating or contributing to a design system.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Technical fluency and ability to work effectively with engineers.
- Ability to simplify complexity and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Interest in experimenting with AI powered tools to enhance design and research processes.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Proficient with Figma, including advanced features such as design tokens, variables, and auto layout, with the ability to create structured components and document them for cross team use.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Background in designing for AI enabled products is a plus.
- General knowledge of front end programming languages is a plus.
