Responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs for the Military One Source (MOS) program as well as other State and community-based agencies that deliver, coordinate or oversee services to eligible persons. Responsible for leadership regarding advanced training activities, and for providing leadership and support to all staff.

  • Manage the training development, implementation and evaluation process for MOS staff to meet or exceed program service and management requirements. Identify and efficiently employ available training resources and best practices.

  • Conduct needs assessments and create/revise training plans to identify and address training opportunities in support of contractual requirements. Initiate an evaluation strategy to identify training gaps, opportunities, root causes, and recommended interventions and to assess learner experience/satisfaction. The evaluation process includes a  performance dashboard review, error report review, surveys, and PMO and program  meetings.

  • Incorporates knowledge of MOS program environment, staff; and PMO guidance when creating and implementing new or revised training/procedures/processes/systems.

  • Ensures the training program complies with contract requirements, company training standards and standards required by federal, military and legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., Compliance, Security, Privacy, Duty to Warn) and develop new/update existing training as these regulations are updated.

  • Ensure DoD approval/sign-off prior to launching trainings when warranted.

  • Collaborate with the Magellan corporate training team to share best practices, identify innovative training methods/platforms, seek input/guidance, and request training for MFLC staff on general issues related to employee growth and skill development.

  • Compose and deliver in Counseling Subcommittee meeting quarterly reports: including but not limited to training vendor updates, trainings delivered in quarter, learner participation, evaluation of impact, and next steps; as well as trainings in process or planned.

  • Compose semi-annual and annual evaluation for Quality Control Plan and Quality Program Evaluation respectively.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.
5+ years' experience in Healthcare or Behavioral Health environment, preferably in a call center environment.
2+ years' experience in training.
2+ years' experience in management/leadership.
Demonstrated application of instructional design and adult education and training concepts.
Ability to translate complex information into terms understandable by learners.
Ability to engage audience, increase their interest, and maintain their focus on learning materials.
Ability to market training initiatives and obtain buy in from targeted audiences.
Demonstrated perseverance to obtain thorough knowledge of learning content prior to training delivery.
Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Demonstrated strong writing – brevity, clarity – skills and verbal communication.
Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Level: Intermediate.

Salary Maximum:

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
