Training Manager, Acorns Customer Support | Acorns

 Acorns is seeking an experienced Training Manager to build and scale our training programs for customer support. This requires a strong training background teaching customer service teams how to support multiple products with exemplary soft and technical skills.

Job Description:

  • Provides the strategic roadmap for onboarding, training and developing our Customer Support team
  • Lead all planning, curriculum development and implementation of training programs
  • On-site coordination and facilitation of training and development programs for CS
  • Implement metrics that will measure the effectiveness of the training programs
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the training and development needs for Acorns Investment and Acorns Later
  • Partner with Management and HR to identify core competencies of CS and develop training programs
  • Develop and facilitate training programs on a variety of topics, including CRMs, Salesforce, policies & procedures, leadership development, coaching and CS quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in organization behavior or adult learning, business or communications
  • Minimum 5 years managing and training a customer oriented role
  • 3 years of investment, retirement or banking experience in operations
  • Experience in designing, creating and delivering training courses
  • Proven success training customer support teams in a multi-product environment
  • Demonstrated capability in developing performance improvement strategies with positive results
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proven ability to work well with multiple departments and different levels of management
  • Knowledge and experience with successful application of adult learning practices
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning and instructional design models
  • Detail-orientated with superior organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities under tight deadlines
