WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR


We're seeking a detail-oriented ticketing operations lead to support the 2027 Grammy Awards. The ideal candidate keeps requests organized across departments and companies, communicates effectively with internal and external partners, and stays calm and resourceful under pressure. This individual collaborates effectively across diverse teams and manages competing priorities with sound discretion.


This role requires a flexible schedule, with availability for overtime, holidays, and weekends. Travel to Los Angeles, CA during Grammy week is required.



WHAT YOU'LL DO


Reporting to the Sr. Director, Ticketing and Event Operations, and working closely with the Sr. Project Manager, Ticketing & Event Operations, this role supports the processing and tracking of internal ticket orders for the 2027 Grammy Awards across all Recording Academy affiliates. Internally, this role focuses on processing ticket orders for the Executive Office, Partnerships, and Awards departments, among others. Externally, it involves processing ticket requests from a range of industry stakeholders and partners. This role also includes general administrative support, such as scheduling meetings and creating and tracking invoices.


TIME COMMITMENT

  • 10/26/26 – 01/29/27 and 02/09/27 – 02/19/27: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Remote)
  • 01/30/27 – 02/08/27: Including weekends with overtime hours (Onsite — Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, CA)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help oversee various internal, full-cycle ticketing projects, including reviewing inventory holds, creating order forms, processing orders, coordinating arena seating, and ensuring tickets are prepared for proper digital distribution.
  • Work directly with the Awards and Executive Office teams to oversee the approval of allotments and order forms for record label and media company ticket requests.
  • Build and implement workflows with the Awards team to collect and manage special ticket requests from nominees, celebrities, and other invited guests.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and Partnerships team to ensure all contractual ticketing needs are met, and that right-to-buy tickets are properly invoiced.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Ticketing team and Executive Office to manage the President's ticket inventory, collect and process payments for additional ticket requests, oversee account holder information, and assist with week-of-show account changes.
  • Assist with the creation of system automations, data formulas, and workflows within internal ticketing databases.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to establish and refine onsite ticketing operations, including red carpet operations, arena scanning, and guest troubleshooting.
  • Help supervise GRAMMY week ticketing staff and support onsite operations.

Customer Service Assistance:

  • Support customer service workflows and help meet daily customer service goals as needed.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for escalated customer support incidents.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. 
  • Experience with Freshdesk or similar customer service platforms.
  • Proficiency in Airtable and its integrated applications.
  • Familiarity with various ticketing platform backends (e.g., Ticketmaster, Frontgate, AXS).
  • Minimum two years of ticketing and/or event management experience required.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the music industry is preferred.
  • Ability to uphold and communicate company policy with professionalism and clarity.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience supervising event staff.

The hourly pay rate for this temporary, overtime-eligible position is $26.00–$28.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
