The Producer is the primary liaison between the client and operations and has overall responsibility to ensure that projects are delivered to the client on time, to specifications, and to ensure that all commitments agreed upon with the client have been met as required. This role requires extensive interaction with clients, efficiently managing resources and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborative client engagement that nurtures loyal and lasting relationships.
- Manage resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product to client.
- Effective communication between facility, client and third-party providers to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of projects while meeting quality specifications.
- Collaborate with Production to maximize output and quality while minimizing costs through efficient use of resources and maintaining budgets.
- Transparent project management that expedites concerns to Operations that may effect delivery or client satisfaction.
- Daily management of project financial aspects including work order actualization and budget tracking with appropriate escalation to Sales and Operations as necessary.
- The Producer is responsible for supporting the Director of Operations, Broadcast, Theatrical, Marketing to accomplish department objectives.
- Other duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge base of the post-production process with three (3) years minimum as a facility finishing producer.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Strong technical understanding of various workflows – Dailies, DI, Home Video, 3D, UHD, HDR, IMF.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interface with internal and external clients seamlessly.
- Sound business judgment and integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle and to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Must demonstrate a positive outlook.
Qualifications:
Education:
- BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
