What we’re looking for

Golden Software is seeking a highly organized, meticulous, and execution-focused Product Marketing Specialist to be the engine behind our go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and customer acquisition efforts.

This is a hands-on specialist role. You turn strategy into flawless execution — ensuring our content, campaigns, and product messaging are delivered on time, on brand, and with measurable impact across the entire customer lifecycle.

If you take pride in operational excellence, love mastering marketing tools, and enjoy translating complex products into clear, compelling value for customers, this role is for you.

Skills & Responsibilities:

You have the skills to excel in this role if you…

  • Have exceptional written and visual communication skills
  • Are highly detail-oriented and hold yourself to a high execution standard
  • Thrive in a self-directed, remote environment with high ownership
  • Enjoy turning strategy into concrete deliverables and campaigns
  • Are technically curious and able to quickly learn complex products
  • Can manage multiple initiatives without losing momentum or quality
  • Are eager to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success

Tools & experience:

  • Experience executing product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or GTM campaigns
  • Strong technical fluency across marketing, CRM, and collaboration systems (HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, CMS platforms, analytics tools).
  • Experience with visual asset production
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Familiarity with technical, scientific, or data-driven products is a strong plus

What you’ll do

As our Product Marketing Specialist, you will focus on the tactical delivery and maintenance of all product-related marketing assets across the entire customer journey.

You will succeed in this role by…

  • Improving product adoption and customer engagement through high-quality marketing
  • Ensuring marketing material for product launches is smooth, aligned, and impactful across all teams
  • Synthesizing complex product features into clear value propositions and messaging pillars (the foundational “why” and “so what”) that enable Marketing and CS to create high-impact emails, social content, and blogs

Feature Adoption & Success:

  • Execute post-sale lifecycle marketing (onboarding, integration, retention campaigns)
  • Create and optimize in-app messaging and Customer Success communications
  • Partner with Product and Customer Success to align adoption strategies
  • Monitor campaign and adoption performance and recommend improvements

Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:

  • Deliver launch content that supports both new sales and up-sell opportunities
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness and communication
  • Produce and finalize launch assets (graphics, short-form video, animations)
  • Conduct competitive research to inform messaging and positioning
  • Support long-tail adoption and lead-generation campaigns

Content, Product & Messaging:

  • Produce and optimize marketing content across channels, including short-form video, animations, technical white papers, etc.
  • Conduct regular personal interviews with users and stakeholders
  • Develop deep product and customer understanding to inform messaging
  • Support Product Discovery by testing and validating messaging early
  • Apply strong visualization and design principles to communicate value clearly

Asset Management & Operations:

  • Maintain and organize the marketing content and digital asset library
  • Enforce naming conventions and conduct regular content audits
  • Make it easy for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to access and use the right assets

The salary range for the Product Marketing Specialist role is $60k-$100k, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. We are committed to providing a competitive compensation package that reflects the value this role brings to the business.

This is a full-time, remote position, with optional team events held in Colorado a couple of times per year. Travel for in-person team and company meetings is required 1–4 times per year.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
