Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Test Procedure Development Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop story board that defines test procedure architecture and methodology
  • Develop test procedure documentation based on released test requirements and story board
  • Develop associating test scripts to automate test execution
  • Validate test scripts against simulator, emulator, test bed, and/or test equipment
  • Support the development of phase procedures for test phase execution
  • Process recurring test procedure updates via change process
  • Support test operation in the lab as required, which include but not limited to: execute tests, troubleshooting, evaluate test data, and archive test data and reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years of experience with space-based applications for mechanical, electrical, RF, and/or digital subsystems
  • 3+ years of experience in the use of electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, vector network Analyzer and oscilloscope
  • Experience with programming in C, C#, C++, Python and Visual Basic languages
  • Experience in Tcl/Tk programming language

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with space-based applications for mechanical, electrical, RF, and/or digital subsystems
  • 5+ years of experience in the use of electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, vector network Analyzer and oscilloscope
  • 3+ years of experience in Tcl/Tk programming language

Summary pay range:
Level 2: $90,950-$123,050
Level 3: $111,350-150,650

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
