  • Lead with breast cancer expertise. Demonstrate strong knowledge of the mBC treatment landscape, relevant patient populations, treatment sequencing, biomarker testing, customer decision drivers, and evolving standards of care.
  • Maintain portfolio expertise. Build and sustain disease-state, product, competitive, and marketplace knowledge in r/r AML and cITP while effectively balancing priorities across multiple promoted products.activities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Navigate the access environment. Identify and address account-level access and reimbursement barriers by understanding formulary and pathway dynamics, payer policies, specialty pharmacy processes, patient-support resources, and operational workflows.
  • Apply GPO insight. Use knowledge of group purchasing organizations, oncology networks, aggregators, contracting relationships, and practice economics to inform account strategy and enable appropriate access in a changing healthcare landscape.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution. Serve as the territory lead for aligned account planning with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Business Operations, Training, and other commercial partners.
  • Partner effectively with Medical Affairs. Collaborate with Medical colleagues in accordance with policies and role clarity; share appropriate field insights, coordinate customer needs, and support an integrated account experience without compromising scientific independence.
  • Build trusted customer partnerships. Develop durable relationships by listening first, understanding clinical and operational needs, and delivering relevant value to the full patient-care team.
  • Create access and resolve barriers. Mobilize appropriate internal resources to address customer needs, accelerate account readiness, and support effective product access and patient-service navigation.
  • Generate actionable insights. Capture and communicate customer, competitor, access, and market insights in a timely manner to strengthen field execution and inform broader organizational decisions.
  • Execute with discipline. Maintain accurate and timely CRM activity, territory records, forecasts, expense reports, required training, and other administrative responsibilities.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
