Temporary Customer Service Associate - Social Media
Named as one of Los Angeles Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2017, Prodege, LLC operates multiple consumer engagement brands, including Swagbucks.com, MyPoints.com, MyGiftCardsPlus.com and newly acquired ShopatHome.com (consumer rewards communities), SodaHead (consumer polling), nCrave (video discovery and audience extension platform), and ProdegeMR (consumer surveys and research solutions).
We are currently seeking a Temporary Customer Service Associate to join our team to help with the holiday season from October 2017 - January 2018. This position will be 40 hours a week; Monday - Friday.
The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for representing the company in a positive and professional manner while answering the inquiries and questions of our users.
Additionally, the Customer Service Associate will:
Work closely with our Facebook moderator to provide a personal and helpful member experience through social media (more specifically, Facebook messaging.) This position will be answering support-related questions for two different brands through our Facebook page.
Troubleshoot user issues and questions with a positive and friendly attitude.
Collaborate on team decisions.
Communicate clearly and professionally via Facebook Messenger.
- Work efficiently with all internal departments to ensure customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Additional skills and experience required:
- At least 1 year of live chat & email customer service experience is required.
- Have general computer knowledge and typing speed of 35 wpm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. (Writing sample will be requested during the interview process.)
- Ability to adapt easily to change and solid troubleshooting skills; this position will need to be aware of promotions and offers that are on our site.
- Proficiency with Google Drive and Zendesk software will be a plus.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Functions.
- Must be detail oriented, capable of managing competing priorities and meeting tight timelines.
- Must be self-motivated and deadline/quota oriented.
- Must be able to work productively with limited supervision.
- Applicants must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm) from October 2017 - January 2018.
