As a Technology Support II team member at JPMorganChase within Healthcare Payments, you will help monitor and support highly available, cloud-hosted software-as-a-service applications that are mission critical. You will help ensure stable transaction processing by investigating exceptions, triaging escalations, and partnering with technology and business teams to restore service quickly and prevent repeat incidents. You will communicate clearly with partners and customers, bring structure to time-sensitive issues, and continuously look for ways to improve monitoring, workflows, and operational processes.
Job responsibilities
- Monitor healthcare transaction processing applications and services to ensure stable, reliable day-to-day performance
- Triage issues escalated by service teams and coordinate timely resolution with appropriate partners
- Research and remediate processing exceptions to reduce operational risk and customer impact
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to speed up incident triage and root-cause hypothesis generation from operational signals, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
- Monitor production application components to support high availability and meet customer service level expectations
- Follow operational agreements and runbooks to support end-to-end service delivery
- Maintain strong working relationships with key partners and customers through clear, proactive communication
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, systems, monitoring, and operational workflows
- Produce ad hoc reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Oracle databases to support operational and business needs
- Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within operational stability routines to identify recurring interruption patterns and support validated remediation actions aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 2+ years of applied experience in application operations, production support, or system integration and support
- 2+ years of applied experience using Structured Query Language (SQL), including querying and reporting against Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support production support workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to read, understand, and apply technical specifications and operational procedures
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted incident recommendations before action, escalating when uncertain and following operational and security expectations.
- Experience investigating issues using logs, metrics, and other monitoring signals in production environments
- Working knowledge of service management practices (for example, Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in time-sensitive, production-impacting scenarios
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting healthcare billing or healthcare management applications
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (for example, Datadog or Dynatrace)
- Experience with Linux or Unix in production environments
- Experience supporting electronic data interchange workflows
- Experience using Jira, ServiceNow, Splunk, or Grafana in an operations context
