About CodeRabbit

CodeRabbit is the leading AI code review platform, trusted by more than 17,000 customers and 150,000 open-source projects, conducting over 2 million code reviews each week. We build the symbiotic partnership between developers and AI that makes shipping fast software safe again, reviewing every pull request, IDE change, and CLI commit so teams can move quickly without breaking things.

We are a fast-moving, well-funded company, fresh off a $143M Series C at a $1.5B valuation — building Agentic Change Management, the control layer for software changes created by humans and agents. As AI writes more of the world's code, the bottleneck moves from implementation to judgment and helping human judgment scale is exactly the problem we exist to solve.

The Role

Own technical hiring end-to-end. This is not just recruiting—you’ll build and run the systems, processes, and pipelines that power how we hire. Own hiring for engineers building at the frontier of AI + developer tools. You’ll partner directly with founders to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent from top companies and research labs.

This role is about judgment, taste, and execution—not just pipeline.

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, AI/ML, and product

  • Build outbound sourcing pipelines from scratch for hard-to-fill roles

  • Drive hiring strategy with founders and hiring managers

  • Run tight, efficient processes (screen → onsite → close)

  • Close top candidates in competitive markets

  • Track funnel metrics and improve conversion at every stage

  • Own and optimize tools (ATS, sourcing, interview workflows)

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting in fast-growing startups

  • Strong operator: you build pipelines, not wait for them

  • Proven track record closing high-quality engineering talent

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and high hiring bars

  • Hands-on with tools like Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.

Why CodeRabbit
  • Direct impact on company trajectory through hiring

  • High ownership, low bureaucracy

  • Work at the intersection of AI + developer tooling

  • Competitive comp + equity

OTE for this role is $175-250k Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
