Key Responsibilities
• Partner with hiring managers across technical, product, and go-to-market teams to define hiring needs and develop targeted, inclusive recruitment strategies
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding
• Assess candidates for both technical and team fit, using structured interviews and technical evaluation tools
• Build diverse talent pipelines through a variety of sourcing strategies- LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, communities, referrals, and beyond
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to assist with candidate outreach, job descriptions, and workflow automation
• Analyze ATS reports and recruiting data to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion rates, and inform decision-making
• Maintain clean and accurate records in our applicant tracking system, and ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the process
• Represent Opus1.io’s values and mission in every interaction with prospective talent
• Experience creating structured interview processes and using data to improve them.
What We’re Looking For
• 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 1-2 years hiring for technical roles
• Strong ability to evaluate both technical aptitude and cultural alignment
• Experience using AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to enhance recruiting operations and candidate communication
• Familiarity with modern technical assessment platforms and how to use them in early-stage evaluations
• A deep understanding of the SaaS ecosystem and startup hiring dynamics
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms and creative sourcing techniques
• Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills across multiple levels of an organization
• Experience using a modern ATS system and leveraging its reporting features to support a data-informed recruiting process
• Highly organized, proactive, and flexible and able to manage multiple roles across different teams
• Bonus: Background or passion for music, education, or the performing arts
