As a Technical Program Manager in Payments Tech , you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.  
Job responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects and programs
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis (e.g., drafting plans, RAID, and status narratives), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project or program outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans and schedules as needed, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for project governance artifacts and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a fast-paced environment  
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
  • Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Practical experience of project delivery in an AGILE environment
  • Experience within Payments Technology
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in project managing multiple projects.
  • Experienced in operating within the full software delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior executives, team members and peers; build relationships, and obtain required information from partners at all levels; assessing needs, understanding requirements and syndicate solutions 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to priorities work
  • Vendor management experience 
  • Support regulatory and audit-related delivery where technology evidence, controls or remediation are required.
