Duties and Responsibilities

  • Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Plans, estimates, schedules and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Uses and refines best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devises contingency

  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Ability to effectively participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 5+ years’ technical project management experience, understand Agile Development Processes
  • 3-5 years of experience with MS Project
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, CAPM) strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative risk management.
    • Root cause analysis
    • Likelihood and Impact assessments
    • Application of risk responses
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Power BI dashboard reporting.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with schedule critical path methodology.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Agile/Waterfall hybrid project management.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in briefing project metrics to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in schedule variance analysis utilizing PMI metrics
  • 3-5 years’ experience with developing project artifacts

Working Conditions

  • Office Setting

This position is remote with some travel/onsite requirements. To be successful in a remote role at PCG, you must:

    • be available during your set working hours
    • have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
    • be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $140,000 - $160,000

PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
